That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked, that so the righteous should be as the wicked; that be far from thee: shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?


O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.


Oh love Jehovah, all ye his saints:\par\tab Jehovah preserveth the faithful,\par\tab And plentifully rewardeth him that dealeth proudly.


And the heavens shall declare his righteousness;\par\tab For God is judge himself. {\i Selah

Arise, O God, plead thine own cause:\par\tab Remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee all the day.


Arise, O God, judge the earth;\par\tab For thou shalt inherit all the nations.\par


Wherefore it shall come to pass, that, when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.


And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.


Whom hast thou defied and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice and lifted up thine eyes on high? {\i even} against the Holy One of Israel.


Because of thy raging against me, and because thine arrogancy is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.\par


Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.\par


Let thy hand be lifted up above thine adversaries, and let all thine enemies be cut off.\par


For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things {\i done} in the body, according to what he hath done, whether {\i it be} good or bad.\par


Likewise, ye younger, be subject unto the elder. Yea, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to serve one another: for {\b God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.}
