How much less when thou sayest thou beholdest him not,\par\tab The cause is before him, and thou waitest for him!


Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way,\par\tab And he will exalt thee to inherit the land:\par\tab When the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.


So that men shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous:\par\tab Verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth.\par


Jehovah hath made himself known, he hath executed judgment:\par\tab The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. {\i Higgaion.\par\tab Selah.\par


Clouds and darkness are round about him:\par\tab Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.


A bruised reed will he not break, and a dimly burning wick will he not quench: he will bring forth justice in truth.


I will bear the indignation of Jehovah, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, {\i and} I shall behold his righteousness.


Then shall ye return and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.\par


They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us: but {\i they went out}, that they might be made manifest that they all are not of us.
