And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.


Ye put to shame the counsel of the poor,\par\tab Because Jehovah is his refuge.


I cried unto thee, O Jehovah;\par\tab I said, Thou art my refuge,\par\tab My portion in the land of the living.


Attend unto my cry;\par\tab For I am brought very low:\par\tab Deliver me from my persecutors;\par\tab For they are stronger than I.


Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;\par\tab My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge;\par\tab My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.


I will call upon Jehovah, who is worthy to be praised:\par\tab So shall I be saved from mine enemies.


O my God, in thee have I trusted,\par\tab Let me not be put to shame;\par\tab Let not mine enemies triumph over me.


My times are in thy hand:\par\tab Deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.


Then will I go unto the altar of God,\par\tab Unto God my exceeding joy;\par\tab And upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God.

Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change,\par\tab And though the mountains be shaken into the heart of the seas


For this God is our God for ever and ever:\par\tab He will be our guide {\i even} unto death.\par


For thou, O God, hast heard my vows:\par\tab Thou hast given {\i me} the heritage of those that fear thy name.


Be thou to me a rock of habitation, whereunto I may continually resort:\par\tab Thou hast given commandment to save me;\par\tab For thou art my rock and my fortress.


For thou, O Jehovah, art my refuge!\par\tab Thou hast made the Most High thy habitation;


The name of Jehovah is a strong tower;\par\tab The righteous runneth into it, and is safe.


Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for Jehovah, {\i even} Jehovah, is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation.


At that time, saith Jehovah, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.


Now he is not the God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.}


But now they desire a better {\i country}, that is, a heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed of them, to be called their God; for he hath prepared for them a city.\par
