If I sin, then thou markest me,\par\tab And thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity.


For his eyes are upon the ways of a man,\par\tab And he seeth all his goings.


He saith in his heart, God hath forgotten;\par\tab He hideth his face; he will never see it.


Let them be before Jehovah continually,\par\tab That he may cut off the memory of them from the earth;


Who can discern {\i his} errors?\par\tab Clear thou me from hidden {\i faults}.


These things hast thou done, and I kept silence;\par\tab Thou thoughtest that I was altogether such a one as thyself:\par\tab {\i But} I will reprove thee, and set {\i them} in order before thine eyes.


It is burned with fire, it is cut down:\par\tab They perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.


For the ways of man are before the eyes of Jehovah;\par\tab And he maketh level all his paths.


For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.\par


For mine eyes are upon all their ways; they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity concealed from mine eyes.


For though thou wash thee with lye, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord Jehovah.


Can any hide himself in secret places so that I shall not see him? saith Jehovah. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith Jehovah.


Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his chambers of imagery? for they say, Jehovah seeth us not; Jehovah hath forsaken the land.
