When his lamp shined upon my head,\par\tab And by his light I walked through darkness;


{\b A Psalm of thanksgiving.}\par\par\tab Make a joyful noise unto Jehovah, all ye lands.


Many there are that say,\par\tab Who will show us {\i any} good?\par\tab Jehovah, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.


For they gat not the land in possession by their own sword,\par\tab Neither did their own arm save them;\par\tab But thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance,\par\tab Because thou wast favorable unto them.


In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up;\par\tab In the evening it is cut down, and withereth.


Clouds and darkness are round about him:\par\tab Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.


In the light of the king's countenance is life;\par\tab And his favor is as a cloud of the latter rain.


O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of Jehovah.


Then shalt thou send abroad the loud trumpet on the tenth day of the seventh month; in the day of atonement shall ye send abroad the trumpet throughout all your land.


Behold, upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! Keep thy feasts, O Judah, perform thy vows; for the wicked one shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.\par


Also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow the trumpets over your burnt-offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God: I am Jehovah your God.


He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob; Neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: Jehovah his God is with him, And the shout of a king is among them.


Jehovah lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.


{\b Thou madest known unto me the ways of life;\par\tab Thou shalt make me full of gladness with thy countenance.}


and how shall they preach, except they be sent? even as it is written, {\b How beautiful are the feet of them that bring glad tidings of good things!}\par


But I say, Did they not hear? Yea, verily,\par\tab {\b Their sound went out into all the earth,\par\tab And their words unto the ends of the world.}


And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp thereof {\i is} the Lamb.
