Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me;\par\tab Thou wilt stretch forth thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies,\par\tab And thy right hand will save me.


Let Israel rejoice in him that made him:\par\tab Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.


Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion!\par\tab When God bringeth back the captivity of his people,\par\tab Then shall Jacob rejoice, {\i and} Israel shall be glad.\par


Thou, who hast showed us many and sore troubles,\par\tab Wilt quicken us again,\par\tab And wilt bring us up again from the depths of the earth.


{\b Maschil of Asaph.}\par\par\tab O God, why hast thou cast {\i us} off for ever?\par\tab Why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?


Is his lovingkindness clean gone for ever?\par\tab Doth his promise fail for evermore?


So shall we not go back from thee:\par\tab Quicken thou us, and we will call upon thy name.


Oh satisfy us in the morning with thy lovingkindness,\par\tab That we may rejoice and be glad all our days.


For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.


Will he retain {\i his anger} for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and hast done evil things, and hast had thy way.\par


the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that say, Give thanks to Jehovah of hosts, for Jehovah is good, for his lovingkindness {\i endureth} for ever; {\i and of them} that bring {\i sacrifices of} thanksgiving into the house of Jehovah. For I will cause the captivity of the land to return as at the first, saith Jehovah.\par


After two days will he revive us: on the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live before him.


O Jehovah, I have heard the report of thee, and am afraid:\par\tab O Jehovah, revive thy work in the midst of the years;\par\tab In the midst of the years make it known;\par\tab In wrath remember mercy.
