To hear the sighing of the prisoner;\par\tab To loose those that are appointed to death;


That men may declare the name of Jehovah in Zion,\par\tab And his praise in Jerusalem;


Because of the oppression of the poor, because of the sighing of the needy,\par\tab Now will I arise, saith Jehovah;\par\tab I will set him in the safety he panteth for.


For Jehovah heareth the needy,\par\tab And despiseth not his prisoners.


O Jehovah, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou our arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.


to open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison-house.
