They conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity,\par\tab And their heart prepareth deceit.\par


According as I have seen, they that plow iniquity,\par\tab And sow trouble, reap the same.


Yea, ye would cast {\i lots} upon the fatherless,\par\tab And make merchandise of your friend.


In the pride of the wicked the poor is hotly pursued;\par\tab Let them be taken in the devices that they have conceived.


The proud have digged pits for me,\par\tab Who are not according to thy law.


Let the wicked fall into their own nets,\par\tab Whilst that I withal escape.


They have prepared a net for my steps;\par\tab My soul is bowed down:\par\tab They have digged a pit before me;\par\tab They are fallen into the midst thereof themselves. {\i Selah


That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity,\par\tab Until the pit be digged for the wicked.

None sueth in righteousness, and none pleadeth in truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.


Shall evil be recompensed for good? for they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember how I stood before thee to speak good for them, to turn away thy wrath from them.


Then king Darius wrote unto all the peoples, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth: Peace be multiplied unto you.
