besides that which the traders and merchants brought: and all the kings of Arabia and the governors of the country brought gold and silver to Solomon.


And they brought every man his tribute, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and raiment, armor, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.


He lieth under the lotus-trees,\par\tab In the covert of the reed, and the fen.


I am {\i for} peace:\par\tab But when I speak, they are for war.


As soon as they hear of me they shall obey me;\par\tab The foreigners shall submit themselves unto me.


Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and ye perish in the way,\par\tab For his wrath will soon be kindled.\par\tab Blessed are all they that take refuge in him.\par


The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall render tribute:\par\tab The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.


Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain;\par\tab Thou hast scattered thine enemies with the arm of thy strength.


And the wild-oxen shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls: and their land shall be drunken with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.\par


Because ye are glad, because ye rejoice, O ye that plunder my heritage, because ye are wanton as a heifer that treadeth out {\i the grain}, and neigh as strong horses;


speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster that lieth in the midst of his rivers, that hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.


Yea, many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek Jehovah of hosts in Jerusalem, and to entreat the favor of Jehovah.


For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:


Whence {\i come} wars and whence {\i come} fightings among you? {\i come they} not hence, {\i even} of your pleasures that war in your members?
