Now therefore arise, O Jehovah God, into thy resting-place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O Jehovah God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness.


Thy hand will find out all thine enemies;\par\tab Thy right hand will find out those that hate thee.


Rise up for our help,\par\tab And redeem us for thy lovingkindness' sake.\par


Slay them not, lest my people forget:\par\tab Scatter them by thy power, and bring them down,\par\tab O Lord our shield.


When the Almighty scattered kings therein,\par\tab {\i It was as when} it snoweth in Zalmon.


Rebuke the wild beast of the reeds,\par\tab The multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the peoples,\par\tab Trampling under foot the pieces of silver:\par\tab He hath scattered the peoples that delight in war.


Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain;\par\tab Thou hast scattered thine enemies with the arm of thy strength.


thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them; for I Jehovah thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation of them that hate me,


At the noise of the tumult the peoples are fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations are scattered.
