And Elijah went to show himself unto Ahab. And the famine was sore in Samaria.


Jehovah is on my side; I will not fear:\par\tab What can man do unto me?


All that hate me whisper together against me;\par\tab Against me do they devise my hurt.


They that trust in their wealth,\par\tab And boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;


Then said they, Come, and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.\par


Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might ensnare him in {\i his} talk.


and said, This man said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.


laying wait for him, to catch something out of his mouth.\par


Jesus answered and said unto them, {\cf6 Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.}


as also in all the epistles, speaking in them of these things; wherein are some things hard to be understood, which the ignorant and unstedfast wrest, as {\i they do} also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

If he say thus, It is well; thy servant shall have peace: but if he be wroth, then know that evil is determined by him.
