When I kept silence, my bones wasted away\par\tab Through my groaning all the day long.


I am pained and bowed down greatly;\par\tab I go mourning all the day long.


For thou art the God of my strength; why hast thou cast me off?\par\tab Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

But verily God hath heard;\par\tab He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

We roar all like bears, and moan sore like doves: we look for justice, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.
