and he said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: Jehovah gave, and Jehovah hath taken away; blessed be the name of Jehovah.


He lieth down rich, but he shall not be gathered {\i to his fathers};\par\tab He openeth his eyes, and he is not.


From men by thy hand, O Jehovah,\par\tab From men of the world, whose portion is in {\i this} life,\par\tab And whose belly thou fillest with thy treasure:\par\tab They are satisfied with children,\par\tab And leave the rest of their substance to their babes.


As he came forth from his mother's womb, naked shall he go again as he came, and shall take nothing for his labor, which he may carry away in his hand.


And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?


Therefore Sheol hath enlarged its desire, and opened its mouth without measure; and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth among them, descend {\i into it}.
