And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.


He wandereth abroad for bread, {\i saying}, Where is it?\par\tab He knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.


Remember, I pray thee, who {\i ever} perished, being innocent?\par\tab Or where were the upright cut off?


Let his children be vagabonds, and beg;\par\tab And let them seek {\i their bread} out of their desolate places.


His seed shall be mighty upon earth:\par\tab The generation of the upright shall be blessed.


His soul shall dwell at ease;\par\tab And his seed shall inherit the land.


For Jehovah loveth justice,\par\tab And forsaketh not his saints;\par\tab They are preserved for ever:\par\tab But the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.


They shall wander up and down for food,\par\tab And tarry all night if they be not satisfied.


Yea, even when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not,\par\tab Until I have declared thy strength unto {\i the next} generation,\par\tab Thy might to every one that is to come.


Cast me not off in the time of old age;\par\tab Forsake me not when my strength faileth.


For Jehovah will not cast off his people,\par\tab Neither will he forsake his inheritance.


A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children;\par\tab And the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous.


Their infants also shall be dashed in pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be rifled, and their wives ravished.\par

There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee; I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.


For Jehovah will not forsake his people for his great name's sake, because it hath pleased Jehovah to make you a people unto himself.
