And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife's sake.


Praise ye Jehovah.\par\tab Blessed is the man that feareth Jehovah,\par\tab That delighteth greatly in his commandments.


And in thy lovingkindness cut off mine enemies,\par\tab And destroy all them that afflict my soul;\par\tab For I am thy servant.


{\b For the Chief Musician. {\i A Psalm} of David the servant of Jehovah, who spake unto Jehovah the words of this song in the day that Jehovah delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: and he said,}\par\par\tab I love thee, O Jehovah, my strength.


{\b A Prayer of Moses the man of God.}\par\par\tab Lord, thou hast been our dwelling-place\par\tab In all generations.


By mercy and truth iniquity is atoned for;\par\tab And by the fear of Jehovah men depart from evil.


Even a child maketh himself known by his doings,\par\tab Whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.


The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil:\par\tab Pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way,\par\tab And the perverse mouth, do I hate.


{\i This is} the end of the matter; all hath been heard: Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole {\i duty} of man.

So Moses the servant of Jehovah died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of Jehovah.


And the Lord's servant must not strive, but be gentle towards all, apt to teach, forbearing,
