And when the mourning was past, David sent and took her home to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased Jehovah.


For my sighing cometh before I eat,\par\tab And my groanings are poured out like water.


In the night season my bones are pierced in me,\par\tab And the {\i pains} that gnaw me take no rest.


My skin is black, {\i and falleth} from me,\par\tab And my bones are burned with heat.
