The dead praise not Jehovah,\par\tab Neither any that go down into silence;


{\b For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.}\par\par\tab In thee, O Jehovah, do I take refuge;\par\tab Let me never be put to shame:\par\tab Deliver me in thy righteousness.


They looked unto him, and were radiant;\par\tab And their faces shall never be confounded.


Let them be put to shame and confounded together that rejoice at my hurt:\par\tab Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify themselves against me.


Let them be put to shame and brought to dishonor that seek after my soul:\par\tab Let them be turned back and confounded that devise my hurt.\par


Thou hast put gladness in my heart,\par\tab More than {\i they have} when their grain and their new wine are increased.

But Jehovah is with me as a mighty one {\i and} a terrible: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail; they shall be utterly put to shame, because they have not dealt wisely, even with an everlasting dishonor which shall never be forgotten.


And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.


He will keep the feet of his holy ones; But the wicked shall be put to silence in darkness; For by strength shall no man prevail.
