When thy days are fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, that shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.


Then Asa went out to meet him, and they set the battle in array in the valley of Zephathah at Mareshah.


Why are times not laid up by the Almighty?\par\tab And why do not they that know him see his days?


Precious in the sight of Jehovah\par\tab Is the death of his saints.


O Jehovah the Lord, the strength of my salvation,\par\tab Thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.


Attend unto my cry;\par\tab For I am brought very low:\par\tab Deliver me from my persecutors;\par\tab For they are stronger than I.


And in thy lovingkindness cut off mine enemies,\par\tab And destroy all them that afflict my soul;\par\tab For I am thy servant.


For the enemy hath persecuted my soul;\par\tab He hath smitten my life down to the ground:\par\tab He hath made me to dwell in dark places, as those that have been long dead.


Deliver me, O Jehovah, from mine enemies:\par\tab I flee unto thee to hide me.


Arise, O Jehovah,\par\tab Confront him, cast him down:\par\tab Deliver my soul from the wicked by thy sword;


O my God, in thee have I trusted,\par\tab Let me not be put to shame;\par\tab Let not mine enemies triumph over me.


I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress;\par\tab My God, in whom I trust.


but if the cloud was not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.


O Jehovah, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things, {\i even} counsels of old, in faithfulness {\i and} truth.


I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself {\i thus}, Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a calf unaccustomed {\i to the yoke}: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art Jehovah my God.


And it came to pass, when the days were well-nigh come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,


Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour. But for this cause came I unto this hour.


Now before the feast of the passover, Jesus knowing that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto his Father, having loved his own that were in the world, he loved them unto the end.


These things spake Jesus; and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, {\cf6 Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that the Son may glorify thee:


They sought therefore to take him: and no man laid his hand on him, because his hour was not yet come.


Jesus therefore saith unto them, {\cf6 My time is not yet come; but your time is always ready.


And he said unto them, {\cf6 It is not for you to know times or seasons, which the Father hath set within his own authority.


And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, {\cf6 Be of good cheer: for as thou hast testified concerning me at Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.}\par


saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must stand before C\'e6sar: and lo, God hath granted thee all them that sail with thee.


For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure is come.


knowing that the putting off of my tabernacle cometh swiftly, even as our Lord Jesus Christ signified unto me.


And David said, As Jehovah liveth, Jehovah will smite him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall go down into battle and perish.
