This shall be written for the generation to come;\par\tab And a people which shall be created shall praise Jehovah.


I have proclaimed glad tidings of righteousness in the great assembly;\par\tab Lo, I will not refrain my lips, O Jehovah, thou knowest.


That the generation to come might know {\i them}, even the children that should be born;\par\tab Who should arise and tell {\i them} to their children,


All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord;\par\tab And they shall glorify thy name.


Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see {\i his} seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of Jehovah shall prosper in his hand.


Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith Jehovah.


Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: they all gather themselves together, they come to thee; thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be carried in the arms.


For therein is revealed a righteousness of God from faith unto faith: as it is written, {\b But the righteous shall live by faith.}\par


Him who knew no sin he made {\i to be} sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.\par
