My tears have been my food day and night,\par\tab While they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?


O Jehovah God of hosts,\par\tab How long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?

Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, so that no prayer can pass through.


Yea, when I cry, and call for help, he shutteth out my prayer.


And he left them again, and went away, and prayed a third time, saying again the same words.


And shall not God avenge his elect, that cry to him day and night, and {\i yet} he is longsuffering over them?


And it came to pass in these days, that he went out into the mountain to pray; and he continued all night in prayer to God.
