Arise, O Jehovah; save me, O my God:\par\tab For thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone;\par\tab Thou hast broken the teeth of the wicked.


Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah, for I am in distress:\par\tab Mine eye wasteth away with grief, {\i yea}, my soul and my body.


Take hold of shield and buckler,\par\tab And stand up for my help.


Let them be as chaff before the wind,\par\tab And the angel of Jehovah driving {\i them} on.


But the wicked shall perish,\par\tab And the enemies of Jehovah shall be as the fat of lambs:\par\tab They shall consume; in smoke shall they consume away.
