After it a voice roareth;\par\tab He thundereth with the voice of his majesty;\par\tab And he restraineth not {\i the lightnings} when his voice is heard


God thundereth marvellously with his voice;\par\tab Great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.


Canst thou send forth lightnings, that they may go,\par\tab And say unto thee, Here we are?


For the arrows of the Almighty are within me,\par\tab The poison whereof my spirit drinketh up:\par\tab The terrors of God do set themselves in array against me.


Cast forth lightning, and scatter them;\par\tab Send out thine arrows, and discomfit them.


For thou wilt make them turn their back;\par\tab Thou wilt make ready with thy bowstrings against their face.


The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters:\par\tab The God of glory thundereth,\par\tab Even Jehovah upon many waters.


The voice of Jehovah cleaveth the flames of fire.


The clouds poured out water;\par\tab The skies sent out a sound:\par\tab Thine arrows also went abroad.


The voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind;\par\tab The lightnings lightened the world:\par\tab The earth trembled and shook.


And Jehovah will cause his glorious voice to be heard, and will show the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of {\i his} anger, and the flame of a devouring fire, with a blast, and tempest, and hailstones.


And Jehovah uttereth his voice before his army; for his camp is very great; for he is strong that executeth his word; for the day of Jehovah is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?\par


The sun and moon stood still in their habitation,\par\tab At the light of thine arrows as they went,\par\tab At the shining of thy glittering spear.

They that strive with Jehovah shall be broken to pieces; Against them will he thunder in heaven: Jehovah will judge the ends of the earth; And he will give strength unto his king, And exalt the horn of his anointed.
