And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the wicked, and love them that hate Jehovah? for this thing wrath is upon thee from before Jehovah.


Streams of water run down mine eyes,\par\tab Because they observe not thy law.\par


I beheld the treacherous, and was grieved,\par\tab Because they observe not thy word.


In whose eyes a reprobate is despised,\par\tab But who honoreth them that fear Jehovah;\par\tab He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not;


I hate the assembly of evil-doers,\par\tab And will not sit with the wicked.


I hate them that regard lying vanities;\par\tab But I trust in Jehovah.


But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret for {\i your} pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because Jehovah's flock is taken captive.\par
