And they sang one to another in praising and giving thanks unto Jehovah, {\i saying}, For he is good, for his lovingkindness {\i endureth} for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised Jehovah, because the foundation of the house of Jehovah was laid.


And it came to pass, when all our enemies heard {\i thereof}, that all the nations that were about us feared, and were much cast down in their own eyes; for they perceived that this work was wrought of our God.


He will yet fill thy mouth with laughter,\par\tab And thy lips with shouting.


Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion!\par\tab When Jehovah bringeth back the captivity of his people,\par\tab Then shall Jacob rejoice, {\i and} Israel shall be glad.\par


Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation;\par\tab {\i And} my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

Then the nations that are left round about you shall know that I, Jehovah, have builded the ruined places, and planted that which was desolate: I, Jehovah, have spoken it, and I will do it.\par


Surely there is no enchantment with Jacob; Neither is there any divination with Israel: Now shall it be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!


For if the casting away of them {\i is} the reconciling of the world, what {\i shall} the receiving {\i of them be}, but life from the dead?
