Psalm 123:1

And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: yea, hear thou in heaven thy dwelling-place; and when thou hearest, forgive.


Jehovah is in his holy temple;\par\tab Jehovah, his throne is in heaven;\par\tab His eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.


But our God is in the heavens:\par\tab He hath done whatsoever he pleased.

For mine eyes are unto thee, O Jehovah the Lord:\par\tab In thee do I take refuge; leave not my soul destitute.


He that sitteth in the heavens will laugh:\par\tab The Lord will have them in derision.


Mine eyes are ever toward Jehovah;\par\tab For he will pluck my feet out of the net.


For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.


Thus saith Jehovah, Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: what manner of house will ye build unto me? and what place shall be my rest?


After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.


But the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote his breast, saying, God, be thou merciful to me a sinner.
