Let his own eyes see his destruction,\par\tab And let him drink of the wrath of the Almighty.


For I have eaten ashes like bread,\par\tab And mingled my drink with weeping,


And now shall my head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me;\par\tab And I will offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy;\par\tab I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto Jehovah.\par


But thou, O Jehovah, art a shield about me;\par\tab My glory and the lifter up of my head.


Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts concerning the prophets: Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall; for from the prophets of Jerusalem is ungodliness gone forth into all the land.\par


And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon, in the {\i first} year of his reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison;


But Jesus answered and said, {\cf6 Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink the cup that I am about to drink?} They say unto him, We are able.


Again a second time he went away, and prayed, saying, {\cf6 My Father, if this cannot pass away, except I drink it, thy will be done.}


Behooved it not the Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory?}


Jesus therefore said unto Peter, {\cf6 Put up the sword into the sheath: the cup which the Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?}\par


searching what {\i time} or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did point unto, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that should follow them.


But God clave the hollow place that is in Lehi, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore the name thereof was called En-hakkore, which is in Lehi, unto this day.
