For the backsliding of the simple shall slay them,\par\tab And the careless ease of fools shall destroy them.


The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge;\par\tab {\i But} the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.


Her feet go down to death;\par\tab Her steps take hold on Sheol;


For on account of a harlot {\i a man is brought} to a piece of bread;\par\tab And the adulteress hunteth for the precious life.
