The law of Jehovah is perfect, restoring the soul:\par\tab The testimony of Jehovah is sure, making wise the simple.


Consider, ye brutish among the people;\par\tab And ye fools, when will ye be wise?


How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity?\par\tab And scoffers delight them in scoffing,\par\tab And fools hate knowledge?


For the backsliding of the simple shall slay them,\par\tab And the careless ease of fools shall destroy them.


To give prudence to the simple,\par\tab To the young man knowledge and discretion:


The wise shall inherit glory;\par\tab But shame shall be the promotion of fools.\par


I wisdom have made prudence my dwelling,\par\tab And find out knowledge {\i and} discretion.


Unto you, O men, I call;\par\tab And my voice is to the sons of men.


Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither:\par\tab As for him that is void of understanding, she saith to him,
