Sheol and Abaddon are never satisfied;\par\tab And the eyes of man are never satisfied.


There is a generation whose teeth are {\i as} swords, and their jaw teeth {\i as} knives,\par\tab To devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.\par


Sheol; and the barren womb;\par\tab The earth that is not satisfied with water;\par\tab And the fire that saith not, Enough.


For three things the earth doth tremble,\par\tab And for four, {\i which} it cannot bear:


There are four things which are little upon the earth,\par\tab But they are exceeding wise:


There are three things which are stately in their march,\par\tab Yea, four which are stately in going:


There are six things which Jehovah hateth;\par\tab Yea, seven which are an abomination unto him:


But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the harlot.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Edom, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever.

Their hands are upon that which is evil to do it diligently; the prince asketh, and the judge {\i is ready} for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth the evil desire of his soul: thus they weave it together.


Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.


They answered and said unto him, Our father is Abraham. Jesus saith unto them, {\cf6 If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.


Ye are of {\i your} father the devil, and the lusts of your father it is your will to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and standeth not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof.


For they that are such serve not our Lord Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and fair speech they beguile the hearts of the innocent.


And in covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose sentence now from of old lingereth not, and their destruction slumbereth not.
