By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted;\par\tab But it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.


A soft answer turneth away wrath;\par\tab But a grievous word stirreth up anger.


The wrath of a king is {\i as} messengers of death;\par\tab But a wise man will pacify it.


If a wise man hath a controversy with a foolish man,\par\tab Whether he be angry or laugh, there will be no rest.
