Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way,\par\tab And he will exalt thee to inherit the land:\par\tab When the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.


But one passed by, and, lo, he was not:\par\tab Yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.


The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance:\par\tab He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked;


Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold,\par\tab And see the reward of the wicked.


Mine eye also hath seen {\i my desire} on mine enemies,\par\tab Mine ears have heard {\i my desire} of the evil-doers that rise up against me.

The righteous man considereth the house of the wicked,\par\tab {\i How} the wicked are overthrown to {\i their} ruin.


When the righteous are increased, the people rejoice;\par\tab But when a wicked man beareth rule, the people sigh.


Who shall not fear, O Lord, and glorify thy name? {\b for thou only art holy; for all the nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy righteous acts have been made manifest.}\par


Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye saints, and ye apostles, and ye prophets; for God hath judged your judgment on her.\par
