He will deliver thee in six troubles;\par\tab Yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.


Many are the afflictions of the righteous;\par\tab But Jehovah delivereth him out of them all.


Evil shall slay the wicked;\par\tab And they that hate the righteous shall be condemned.


Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;\par\tab For Jehovah upholdeth him with his hand.

A wicked messenger falleth into evil;\par\tab But a faithful ambassador is health.


Evil pursueth sinners;\par\tab But the righteous shall be recompensed with good.


The wicked is thrust down in his evil-doing;\par\tab But the righteous hath a refuge in his death.


For their calamity shall rise suddenly;\par\tab And the destruction from them both, who knoweth it?\par


Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly;\par\tab On a sudden shall he be broken, and that without remedy.


I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will show them the back, and not the face, in the day of their calamity.\par


Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah: Shall men fall, and not rise up again? Shall one turn away, and not return?

Then said Saul to his armorbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith, lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armorbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took his sword, and fell upon it.
