How sweet are thy words unto my taste!\par\tab {\i Yea, sweeter} than honey to my mouth!


Thy testimonies have I taken as a heritage for ever;\par\tab For they are the rejoicing of my heart.


With my lips have I declared\par\tab All the ordinances of thy mouth.


I rejoice at thy word,\par\tab As one that findeth great spoil.


Let my lips utter praise;\par\tab For thou teachest me thy statutes.


More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold;\par\tab Sweeter also than honey and the droppings of the honeycomb.


In the lips of him that hath discernment wisdom is found;\par\tab But a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding.


The lips of the righteous feed many;\par\tab But the foolish die for lack of understanding.


The lips of the wise disperse knowledge;\par\tab But the heart of the foolish {\i doeth} not so.


The wise in heart shall be called prudent;\par\tab And the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.

Hear, for I will speak excellent things;\par\tab And the opening of my lips shall be right things.


Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy words were unto me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart: for I am called by thy name, O Jehovah, God of hosts.


For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth; for he is the messenger of Jehovah of hosts.


He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, from within him shall flow rivers of living water.}


Through him then let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which make confession to his name.
