A lying tongue hateth those whom it hath wounded;\par\tab And a flattering mouth worketh ruin.\par


A man that flattereth his neighbor\par\tab Spreadeth a net for his steps.


To keep thee from the evil woman,\par\tab From the flattery of the foreigner's tongue.


And I find more bitter than death the woman whose heart is snares and nets, {\i and} whose hands are bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.
