A perverse heart shall depart from me:\par\tab I will know no evil thing.


Incline not my heart to any evil thing,\par\tab To practise deeds of wickedness\par\tab With men that work iniquity:\par\tab And let me not eat of their dainties.


The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable;\par\tab But the mouth of the wicked {\i speaketh} perverseness.\par


Walk with wise men, and thou shalt be wise;\par\tab But the companion of fools shall smart for it.


Thine eyes shall behold strange things,\par\tab And thy heart shall utter perverse things.


He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool;\par\tab But whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.


For the perverse is an abomination to Jehovah;\par\tab But his friendship is with the upright.


A worthless person, a man of iniquity,\par\tab Is he that walketh with a perverse mouth;
