My soul is among lions;\par\tab I lie among them that are set on fire,\par\tab Even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows,\par\tab And their tongue a sharp sword.


The appetite of the laboring man laboreth for him;\par\tab For his mouth urgeth him {\i thereto}.


A perverse man scattereth abroad strife;\par\tab And a whisperer separateth chief friends.


He that shutteth his eyes, {\i it is} to devise perverse things:\par\tab He that compresseth his lips bringeth evil to pass.


A worthless witness mocketh at justice;\par\tab And the mouth of the wicked swalloweth iniquity.

A worthless person, a man of iniquity,\par\tab Is he that walketh with a perverse mouth;

Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of falsehood, and sin as it were with a cart rope;


Behold, is it not of Jehovah of hosts that the peoples labor for the fire, and the nations weary themselves for vanity?


And the tongue is a fire: the world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the wheel of nature, and is set on fire by hell.


Now therefore know and consider what thou wilt do; for evil is determined against our master, and against all his house: for he is such a worthless fellow, that one cannot speak to him.
