And Joseph said unto them, What deed is this that ye have done? know ye not that such a man as I can indeed divine?


Is not this that in which my lord drinketh, and whereby he indeed divineth? ye have done evil in so doing.


For the king will hear, to deliver his servant out of the hand of the man that would destroy me and my son together out of the inheritance of God.


And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do justice.


But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up, so that he did corruptly, and he trespassed against Jehovah his God; for he went into the temple of Jehovah to burn incense upon the altar of incense.


The king's strength also loveth justice;\par\tab Thou dost establish equity;\par\tab Thou executest justice and righteousness in Jacob.


The king by justice establisheth the land;\par\tab But he that exacteth gifts overthroweth it.


They speak {\i vain} words, swearing falsely in making covenants: therefore judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.


Ye who turn justice to wormwood, and cast down righteousness to the earth,


Shall horses run upon the rock? will one plow {\i there} with oxen? that ye have turned justice into gall, and the fruit of righteousness into wormwood;
