That the wise man may hear, and increase in learning;\par\tab And that the man of understanding may attain unto sound counsels:


A prudent man concealeth knowledge;\par\tab But the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.


All the days of the afflicted are evil;\par\tab But he that is of a cheerful heart {\i hath} a continual feast.


The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge;\par\tab And the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.


Give {\i instruction} to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser:\par\tab Teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning.
