How much less one that is abominable and corrupt,\par\tab A man that drinketh iniquity like water!\par


How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity?\par\tab And scoffers delight them in scoffing,\par\tab And fools hate knowledge?


It is as sport to a fool to do wickedness;\par\tab And {\i so is} wisdom to a man of understanding.


They that are perverse in heart are an abomination to Jehovah;\par\tab But such as are perfect in {\i their} way are his delight.


A good man shall obtain favor of Jehovah;\par\tab But a man of wicked devices will he condemn.


Good understanding giveth favor;\par\tab But the way of the transgressor is hard.


Surely he scoffeth at the scoffers;\par\tab But he giveth grace unto the lowly.


So shalt thou find favor and good understanding\par\tab In the sight of God and man.
