I will meditate on thy precepts,\par\tab And have respect unto thy ways.


Search me, O God, and know my heart:\par\tab Try me, and know my thoughts;


The desire of the righteous is only good;\par\tab {\i But} the expectation of the wicked is wrath.


A worthy woman is the crown of her husband;\par\tab But she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.


The words of the wicked are of lying in wait for blood;\par\tab But the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.


The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way;\par\tab But the folly of fools is deceit.


The thought of foolishness is sin;\par\tab And the scoffer is an abomination to men.


let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto Jehovah, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.


O Jerusalem, wash thy heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thine evil thoughts lodge within thee?


And they bend their tongue, {\i as it were} their bow, for falsehood; and they are grown strong in the land, but not for truth: for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith Jehovah.


And they will deceive every one his neighbor, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies; they weary themselves to commit iniquity.


Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the Wise-men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the male children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the borders thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had exactly learned of the Wise-men.


and they took counsel together that they might take Jesus by subtlety, and kill him.


Wherefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall each man have his praise from God.\par


but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
