So all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was quiet. And Athaliah they had slain with the sword at the king's house.


and she looked, and, behold, the king stood by his pillar at the entrance, and the captains and the trumpets by the king; and all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew trumpets; the singers also {\i played} on instruments of music, and led the singing of praise. Then Athaliah rent her clothes, and said, Treason! treason!


So all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was quiet. And Athaliah they had slain with the sword.\par


Men shall clap their hands at him,\par\tab And shall hiss him out of his place.\par

When the righteous are increased, the people rejoice;\par\tab But when a wicked man beareth rule, the people sigh.


Then the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for joy over Babylon; for the destroyers shall come unto her from the north, saith Jehovah.


So let all thine enemies perish, O Jehovah: But let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.
