{\b TETH.}\par\par\tab Thou hast dealt well with thy servant,\par\tab O Jehovah, according unto thy word.


Thou art good, and doest good;\par\tab Teach me thy statutes.


He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness,\par\tab And speaketh truth in his heart;


With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure;\par\tab And with the perverse thou wilt show thyself froward.


For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield:\par\tab Jehovah will give grace and glory;\par\tab No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.


The way of Jehovah is a stronghold to the upright;\par\tab But it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity.


He that walketh uprightly walketh surely;\par\tab But he that perverteth his ways shall be known.


He that walketh in his uprightness feareth Jehovah;\par\tab But he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.


He layeth up sound wisdom for the upright;\par\tab {\i He is} a shield to them that walk in integrity;


Whoso walketh uprightly shall be delivered;\par\tab But he that is perverse in {\i his} ways shall fall at once.


Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stink, because there is no water, and die for thirst.


Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and declare unto my people their transgression, and to the house of Jacob their sins.


Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy words were unto me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart: for I am called by thy name, O Jehovah, God of hosts.


Hear ye the word of Jehovah, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel:


Who is wise, that he may understand these things? prudent, that he may know them? for the ways of Jehovah are right, and the just shall walk in them; but transgressors shall fall therein.\par


Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel, that abhor justice, and pervert all equity.


Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of Jehovah unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith Jehovah of hosts.


And Jehovah said unto Moses, Is Jehovah's hand waxed short? now shalt thou see whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.


Bring forth therefore fruit worthy of repentance:


They answered and said unto him, Our father is Abraham. Jesus saith unto them, {\cf6 If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.


Did then that which is good become death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might be shown to be sin, by working death to me through that which is good;—that through the commandment sin might become exceeding sinful.


Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own affections.


holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof: from these also turn away.
