It pleased Jehovah, for his righteousness' sake, to magnify the law, and make it honorable.


if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin; it is the plague of leprosy, and shall be showed unto the priest.


yea and before governors and kings shall ye be brought for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.


Then charged he the disciples that they should tell no man that he was the Christ.\par


And as they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, {\cf6 Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen from the dead.}


But Jesus answering said unto him, {\cf6 Suffer {\i it} now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness.} Then he suffereth him.


Think not that I came to destroy the law or the prophets: I came not to destroy, but to fulfil.


{\cf6 {\i But} take heed that ye do not your righteousness before men, to be seen of them: else ye have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.\par


And their eyes were opened. And Jesus strictly charged them, saying, {\cf6 See that no man know it.}


But take ye heed to yourselves: they shall deliver you up to councils; and in synagogues shall ye be beaten; and before governors and kings shall ye stand for my sake, for a testimony unto them.


And he charged them much that they should not make him known.\par


And he charged them much that no man should know this: and he commanded that {\i something} should be given her to eat.\par


And whatsoever place shall not receive you, and they hear you not, as ye go forth thence, shake off the dust that is under your feet for a testimony unto them.}

And as they were coming down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, save when the Son of man should have risen again from the dead.


And when he saw them, he said unto them, {\cf6 Go and show yourselves unto the priests.} And it came to pass, as they went, they were cleansed.


It shall turn out unto you for a testimony.


And demons also came out from many, crying out, and saying, Thou art the Son of God. And rebuking them, he suffered them not to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.\par


And he charged him to tell no man: {\cf6 but go thy way, and show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.}


And her parents were amazed: but he charged them to tell no man what had been done.\par


But he charged them, and commanded {\i them} to tell this to no man;


I receive not glory from men.


He that speaketh from himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh the glory of him that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.


But I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.
