He saith, Yea. And when he came into the house, Jesus spake first to him, saying, {\cf6 What thinkest thou, Simon? the kings of the earth, from whom do they receive toll or tribute? from their sons, or from strangers?}


And he touched her hand, and the fever left her; and she arose, and ministered unto him.


And Jesus saith unto him, {\cf6 The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven {\i have} nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.}


Have we no right to lead about a wife that is a believer, even as the rest of the apostles, and the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?


The bishop therefore must be without reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, orderly, given to hospitality, apt to teach;


forbidding to marry, {\i and commanding} to abstain from meats, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by them that believe and know the truth.


{\i Let} marriage {\i be} had in honor among all, and {\i let} the bed {\i be} undefiled: for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
