If I have seen any perish for want of clothing,\par\tab Or that the needy had no covering;


Therefore thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, against the shepherds that feed my people: Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them; behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith Jehovah.


The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery; yea, they have vexed the poor and needy, and have oppressed the sojourner wrongfully.

for I was hungry, and ye did not give me to eat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink;


Then shall they also answer, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?


And after some days Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us return now and visit the brethren in every city wherein we proclaimed the word of the Lord, {\i and see} how they fare.


Forget not to show love unto strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.


Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; them that are ill-treated, as being yourselves also in the body.


And they turned aside thither, to go in to lodge in Gibeah: and he went in, and sat him down in the street of the city; for there was no man that took them into his house to lodge.
