Which of the two did the will of his father? They say, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, that the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.


For many are called, but few chosen.}\par


Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby.


But many {\i that are} first shall be last; and the last first.}\par


For I say unto you, that none of those men that were bidden shall taste of my supper.}\par


I say unto you, that even so there shall be joy in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, {\i more} than over ninety and nine righteous persons, who need no repentance.\par


Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, {\i the same} loveth little.}


And the law came in besides, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace did abound more exceedingly:


and whom he foreordained, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.\par


What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who followed not after righteousness, attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith:


And for this cause we also thank God without ceasing, that, when ye received from us the word of the message, {\i even the word} of God, ye accepted {\i it} not {\i as} the word of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which also worketh in you that believe.
