If I regard iniquity in my heart,\par\tab The Lord will not hear:


Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.


Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings: their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.


And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the common, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.


Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish {\i thee}; neither shall mine eye spare, and I also will have no pity.


And he shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease; and upon the wing of abominations {\i shall come} one that maketh desolate; and even unto the full end, and that determined, shall {\i wrath} be poured out upon the desolate.\par


to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.


This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woollen or linen, either in the warp, or the woof, or anything of skin, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.


This is the law of him that hath an issue, and of him whose seed of copulation goeth from him, so that he is unclean thereby;


Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary; I am Jehovah.


I also will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.


only he shall not go in unto the veil, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I am Jehovah who sanctifieth them.


Whosoever toucheth a dead person, the body of a man that hath died, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water for impurity was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.


But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from the midst of the assembly, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of Jehovah: the water for impurity hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.


both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camp, in the midst whereof I dwell.


If any man destroyeth the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, and such are ye.\par


Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so ye shall observe to do.


of how much sorer punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?


For there are certain men crept in privily, {\i even} they who were of old written of beforehand unto this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.\par


And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be expiated with sacrifice nor offering for ever.
