O thou hope of Israel, the Saviour thereof in the time of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a sojourner in the land, and as a wayfaring man that turneth aside to tarry for a night?


And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at the Lord's feet, and heard his word.


And they constrained him, saying, Abide with us; for it is toward evening, and the day is now far spent. And he went in to abide with them.


But the man from whom the demons were gone out prayed him that he might be with him: but he sent him away, saying,


And from that city many of the Samaritans believed on him because of the word of the woman, who testified, He told me all things that {\i ever} I did.


And many more believed because of his word;


And after the two days he went forth from thence into Galilee.


And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide {\i there}. And she constrained us.\par


And there was much joy in that city.\par


Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
