And it shall come to pass in that day, that the root of Jesse, that standeth for an ensign of the peoples, unto him shall the nations seek; and his resting-place shall be glorious.\par


Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else.


And Moses made a serpent of brass, and set it upon the standard: and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked unto the serpent of brass, he lived.


See that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.


And these shall go away into eternal punishment: but the righteous into eternal life.}\par


He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.


For the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost.}\par


But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, {\i even} to them that believe on his name:


These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.}\par


but these are written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye may have life in his name.\par


For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.


He that believeth on the Son hath eternal life; but he that obeyeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.\par


Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life.


Work not for the food which perisheth, but for the food which abideth unto eternal life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him the Father, {\i even} God, hath sealed.}


For this is the will of my Father, that every one that beholdeth the Son, and believeth on him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.}\par


Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth hath eternal life.


{\b Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish;\par\tab For I work a work in your days,\par\tab A work which ye shall in no wise believe, if one declare it unto you.}\par


And as they went on the way, they came unto a certain water; and the eunuch saith, Behold, {\i here is} water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?


that, as sin reigned in death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.\par


For the word of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us who are saved it is the power of God.


And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled in them that perish:


yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.


I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me: and that {\i life} which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, {\i the faith} which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.


But we are not of them that shrink back unto perdition; but of them that have faith unto the saving of the soul.\par


Wherefore also he is able to save to the uttermost them that draw near unto God through him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.\par


And this is the promise which he promised us, {\i even} the life eternal.


Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is begotten of God: and whosoever loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.


And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, {\i even} in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
