Then said Jesus unto his disciples, {\cf6 If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.


For as the lightning cometh forth from the east, and is seen even unto the west; so shall be the coming of the Son of man.


And as he sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what {\i shall be} the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?


Therefore be ye also ready; for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.\par


But when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory:


But Jesus saith unto him, {\cf6 Follow me; and leave the dead to bury their own dead.}\par


And he said unto them, {\cf6 Verily I say unto you, There are some here of them that stand {\i by}, who shall in no wise taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God come with power.}\par


Now this he spake, signifying by what manner of death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, {\cf6 Follow me.}


Peter therefore seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?


For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink the cup, ye proclaim the Lord's death till he come.


Wherefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall each man have his praise from God.\par


For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of glorying? Are not even ye, before our Lord Jesus at his coming?


Be patient therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receive the early and latter rain.


Be ye also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord is at hand.


{\b Behold, he cometh with the clouds}; and every eye shall see him, and they that pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth shall mourn over him. Even so, Amen.\par


Nevertheless that which ye have, hold fast till I come.


He who testifieth these things saith, {\cf6 Yea: I come quickly.} Amen: come, Lord Jesus.\par


{\cf6 And behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book.}\par


I come quickly: hold fast that which thou hast, that no one take thy crown.
